On the plus side, you can get some information upfront that helps you, like what colors and options are available, but the moment you tell your internet salesman you are interested just watch what happens next. He tries to "close you" on making an appointment to come to the dealership. In essence you drop your guard and next thing you know, you are at the dealership buying a car the old-fashioned way.
